Growing up in Nashville, TN, I was always encouraged to use my creativity, whether it was through music or art. For me, painting is the most authentic and natural way of expressing my thoughts and feelings and telling my story. Through my art I try to show the world as I see it,and I’m always fascinated to watch something that never existed before evolve on the canvas as I explore unexpected color combinations, quirky marks and different textures. I hope you’ll find something in my paintings that makes you feel or think about your experience in a different way.When I’m not in my studio in the historic Jackson Building in Gainesville, I can usually be found playing Wordle or spending time with my husband and our 16 year old terrier.
